Features
• Sirius VRS has been designed for the Cosmetics, Toiletries, Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries. In recognising the special needs of the Pharmaceutical and Personal Care industries Sirius VRS will accept all proprietary marking and security systems.
• Sirius VRS is designed to be user friendly with a unique quick change mandrel system, changeover is simple keeping downtime to a minimum. Label application speeds of up to 300 per minute are achieved with a maximum line speed of 25 metres per minute.
• The basic machine, with its Motion Controlled Stepper Motor driven labelling head, has all the high spec features of the standard Sirius.
• The specially designed Wrapround System with a Vertical Roller Stabiliser enables the Sirius VRS to apply labels to a range of round containers and excels in the application of labels to unstable products.
• Products are supported by three point contact, between two vertical rollers and a wide belt wrapround, during label application. This ensures vertical orientation of the product and highly accurate label application, irrespective of the stability of the product.

• Machine Base: The base construction is clad in stainless steel and built to pharmaceutical standards.
• Conveyor: Standard conveyor length of 3438mm with a maximum linear speed of 25 metres per minute.
• Scroll: Servo driven, 600mm synchronised scroll ensures perfect queue control, separation and pitching into the VRS.
• Labelling Head: Label head is a Stepper Motor Driven with an Advanced Motion control system incorporating the HMS Label Management System.
Label head has a straight line web path and include a single nip drive system with vernier adjustment to all three axis of adjustment.
Combination of digital positioned indicators and graduated scales fitted to all adjustable modules for ease of setting.
• Finishing Unit: Comprising a Wrapround Unit and Vertical Roller Stabiliser System with unique quick change mandrel system for greater accuracy when labelling a wide range of round containers.
The Vertical Roller Stabiliser supports the product vertically, with a three point contact, between twin rollers and the wide belt wrapround unit. (as Sirius STD brochure)
• Overprint Unit: Hot foil, deboss, thermal transfer, inkjet and laser coders.
• Ancillary Equipment: A wide range is available including - product and label counters, infeed/outfeed monitoring controls and pharmaceutical security systems.
